What began as a straightforward request for finishing work and Level 5 skim coating quickly evolved into a complete transformation. Shortly after our agreement was signed, it became apparent that the previous general contractor had cut corners, failed to comply with building codes, and ultimately abandoned the project, leaving the newly purchased home in disarray.
We stepped in as the general contractor, taking on the challenge of correcting substandard workmanship, addressing incomplete permits, resolving inaccurate drawings, and replacing improperly specified materials. Through meticulous planning, expert craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to quality, we transformed a troubled renovation into a beautifully restored masterpiece.
The result? Nothing short of perfection.
Originally in estate condition, this residence was thoughtfully transformed into a serene pied-à-terre, envisioned as our client’s peaceful retreat for retirement. Embracing a timeless, traditional aesthetic, the design incorporates a soothing palette of neutral tones, rich wood finishes, and understated architectural details to create an atmosphere of warmth and tranquility. Every element was carefully considered to balance elegance with everyday functionality, resulting in a refined, inviting sanctuary designed for comfort, relaxation, and effortless living.

This one bedroom residence underwent a complete gut renovation, stripped down to the concrete slab and thoughtfully rebuilt with an emphasis on functionality, intelligent storage, and sophisticated design. The original enclosed kitchen was reimagined as an open concept layout, creating a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining, and living areas, ideal for both everyday living and entertaining. To further refine the space, the ceilings were strategically lowered to conceal existing structural beams while incorporating sleek recessed lighting. The result is a beautifully cohesive, modern Manhattan home that maximizes every square foot without compromising comfort, style, or practicality.
